# FOREX

The **Forex Market** or **FX** is an abbreviation of Foreign Exchange Market, which means foreign currency market.

Trading in **FOREX** involves buying one currency and simultaneously selling another. That is, currencies are traded in PAIRS, for example: dollar and yen (USD/JPY). The investor does not buy dollars or yen, physically, but a monetary exchange relationship between them.
