What is a Token?

They are digital assets built on the Blockchain of another cryptocurrency.

Cryptocurrencies are developed on their own network (blockchain). If a cryptocurrency does not have its own blockchain and instead uses another cryptocurrency's blockchain to function, it is considered a token.
